Marten River Lodge is located south of Temagami and on the Marten River, which has an overpopulation of Black Bears. Their success rate is usually in the 75% to 100% range. Clearwater Lodge: A true king of the forest, our Black Bears commonly reach over 400 lbs but are most common in the 225 to 350 lbs range.
